        The triple pole double break with  Turn Twist type isolator is center post Insulator rotating type gang operated, Manual/Motor operated and designed for outdoor application. The isolator is designed to suit overhead systems used in high density urban situations or high load centers, where the load is much higher and the need of improved and steady quality power supply is much greater. Main function of this product is to isolate the Transformer, Overhead lines, System or Cables from distribution network.
This type of isolator consists of three loads of post insulators. The middle insulator holds a flat male or tubular contact that can be turned straightly by a spin of the middle post insulator. The rotation of the middle post insulator can be done by a lever method at the bottom of the post insulator, as well as it is related to manual operation (operating handle) or motorized operation motor (using motor) of the isolator via a mechanical knot rod.

The most commonly used switch in small to medium substations is a gang-operated, air-break disconnect switch. "Gang-operated" because the three separate switches for each phase are operated as a group from a single control; "air-break" because the switch operates in air rather than in another medium, such as oil. The purpose of this switch is to disconnect the substation from the incoming line, not to disconnect the transformer from the load. It is like a large safety switch with no load breaking capability. It can only break, or "interrupt" the relatively small "magnetizing current" of the substation transformer. A substation must first be disconnected from its secondary or load side before the primary or high voltage side can be disconnected using the disconnect switch.
